Singapore Pools had a great start in 2019 as the first month of January had two wonderful Jackpot winners. The first winner was paid out a hefty sum of $9,731,377 in the new year on January 3rd when a Toto lottery winner made headlines for hitting the record-breaking jackpot amount by a solo winner of S$9.7 million.
Less than two weeks later, on January 14th, yet another solo winner gets the perfect combination and won the jackpot prize of S$9,588,137. About 200,000 short from the first winner, but still had great winnings.

- To play TOTO, pick at least six numbers between 1 and 49.
- The minimum cost is $1, inclusive of GST.
- Draws take place every Monday and Thursday at 6.30pm. If it is a cascade draw, the draw time will be at 9.30pm.
- Six Winning Numbers and one Additional Number are drawn each draw.
- If your chosen numbers include at least three of the Winning Numbers, you win a prize.

As for the rest of the winning shares, 9 people won around S$11,925 each from Group 2, while the number increases for winning shares in relation to the share amount as it progresses down the prize group. Group 7 had 385,481 people winning S$10 each.

Singapore Pool Lotteries
Singapore Pools or Singapore Pools (Private) Limited is a state-owned lottery subsidiary company in Singapore. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tote Board, it is the only operator that is legally allowed to run lotteries in Singapore.

On 29 September 2016, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced that Singapore Pools would be granted an exemption under the Remote Gambling Act 2014, allowing it to offer online and telephone gambling for 4D and TOTO lotteries, football and motor-racing
In September 2018, it introduced a paperless eBetslip app that allows punters to mark out 4-D and Toto bets on e-betting slips and track their expenses to reduce the use of paper betting slips and promote responsible gaming.
Also Singapore Pools has taken over all horse betting operations from the Singapore Turf Club (STC) from Jan 7th 2019
Daily horse racing operations and the Turf Club at Kranji will remain under STC, and only the betting functions will be run by Singapore Pools. These include the betting outlets at the Singapore Racecourse and all off-course betting centres.
There will also be no change in game and payout structure, and punters can continue to place bets at existing retail and remote channels for horse betting.
As said above Singapore Pools will also be taking over iTote, the remote horse betting application service. The iTote app will continue to run separately from the Singapore Pools mobile app that allows users to place lottery and sports bets electronically.
